Easy to find ,nice area ,small park opposite parking outside for small fee was convenient Lovely Big room ,Spacious bathroom , Comfortable Queen size bed ,Clean , Quite Location, Lovely Cooked Breakfast Great Tasting Vegetarian option , Help yourself to Cereals ,Toast etc Friendly & Helpful Staff

Loved the location - just a 10 minute stroll to the centre of town but on the edge of a lovely quiet square outside the New Theatre. Staff were friendly and helpful. Breakfast was served swiftly and was very nice. I had asked for a room with a good amount of desk space for working - I was given a free upgrade on arrival which delivered that, and more. The room was very large and well-equipped - robes, safe, iron etc.

On arrival we got an upgrade on our room which was a nice little touch. The room was very large with everything you need in a hotel room. Very clean and cozy. Within walking distance to the centre. Lovely little bar for a drink. We are going to book again but eat in the restaurant. The full English breakfast was really nice and they also had small bowls of fresh fruit salad to choose from along with the usual cereal etc.

Nice old fashioned feel, so much better than the new soulless hotels. Comfortable room and in a very quiet part of Hull yet only 10 mins walk to city centre, old town and train station. Lovely staff. Had dinner on first night and was good and plentiful.

We made a very late booking, as we had seen the weather forecast and felt it prudent to travel the day before we needed to go. We chose it because it offered B&B and parking. When we arrived, just after 6pm, we found there was a restaurant in the hotel, so ate dinner there . It was freezing outside so we were glad not to have to go outside again. Staff were all very pleasant and welcoming. The food was good, too. Liked the fact we were given a free car-park pass for the next day, so we could explore Hull before heading to the ferry port. (Parking free outside the hotel until 8.30am)

The hotel is very comfortable, and very welcoming. I have never stayed in a place with such a friendly and supportive team. Our room was clean and comfortable, much larger than our bedroom at home. Similarly the bathroom. We had breakfast each morning which was served cheerfully. The choice of options is very good, they make excellent poached eggs. We had an evening meal in the restaurant on three occasions, the food is flavourful and well presented. Portions are generous. It is an excellent location for the theatre, only yards away, and an easy walk to the centre of the city. Gary and his staff are what really makes the difference. They are so helpful and accommodating.

They went the extra mile to make sure my stay was the best it could be. I have a difficult diet, I can't eat gluten or dairy and they had so many food options that I could eat. My room was also upgraded and it was spotless, comfortable and luxurious. All members of staff were so friendly and helpful. Highly recommend and would stay again in a heartbeat.

The room was a good size, well equipped with an iron, hair dryer, kettle etc. The beds were really comfy and it was spotlessly clean. I visited with my young son and we felt very safe and welcome. The location was perfect as we had come to Hull for the theatre which is just across the road. The hotel was easy to walk to from the train station. The cooked breakfast was excellent, made to order with good quality ingredients, there was also toast, fruit, cereal and yoghurt that you could help yourself to. I thought it was really good value for money and wouldn't hesitate to stay again.

Breakfast. The Hotel was able to supply me with a most suitable breakfast for my particular dietary needs. The fruit was delicious, plentiful supply of toast and preserves and tea(although I would have loved some of the delicious looking "Full English " that some guests were having!)traditional table napery, good, attentive, but not intrusive service.
